Master Lin created SFQ Guild Practice Groups to encourage our Spring Forest students to share all the benefits of qigong with others as a glad free gift of love.
Many Practice Groups have naturally come into being over the years fulfilling our vision of a healer in every family and a world without pain. With love, kindness and honor, we share what we practice and build community. In a loving community, we awaken the healer within us.
Many of you have felt this calling and have begun to lead Spring Forest Qigong Practice groups all over the world.
Guidelines For Worldwide Practice Group Leaders
With love in action, many of you have chosen to be leaders of SFQ practice groups. As you make your way, here are some guidelines for leading a group:
Achieve Level 2 SFQ to lead a practice group
- Offer Active Exercise
- Offer SFQ Meditation
- Offer Internal and External Spring Forest Qigong
- Offer a quiet peaceful gathering place
- Offer Question and Answer
- As a first step for new members, encourage them to join our Guild Community for free so they can access Master Lin’s Guild calls every other month.
- Suggest they can sign-up for our free SFQ monthly newsletter to receive Master Lin’s monthly message and emails about free healing calls and meditations to support
their practice. - If you rent a space for your group meeting, you can ask members to contribute a love gift to help pay for the meeting space.
*Note: Practice Group Leaders should not charge for a practice Group meeting as if it were a class or learning seminar. Only those Certified as Instructors for Levels 1 and/or 2 charge for classes.
Practice Group Leader & Instructor Certification
A SFQ Practice Group exists for two purposes:
- To share Spring Forest Qigong with others as a glad free gift of love.
- To develop the spirit of service and leadership skills for those who wish to be certified by Master Lin to teach Spring Forest Qigong.
Come summer of 2012, new guidelines for becoming a Certified Instructor will be announced. Part of the application will be a Practice Group Leader Form that must be completed for your application to be considered for Certification as a SFQ instructor or to renew your certification.
You can find that form on this website under the ‘Tool Box’ tab. Every Certified Level 1, 2 Instructor must demonstrate that they lead a Practice Group in their area. If you are already certified as an Instructor, you are required to continue Practice Group Leadership to be re-certified.
